Lazy Sunday Thoughts: The Most Hectic Time of the Year

I got back from my vacation and immediately jumped into Christmas preparations.

I wish my to-do list looked like that

I’m 95% finished my shopping. I just need to wrap it all.

I need these guys

We’re finishing a couple of renos here at home before the season begins.

Going better than that

Then there is all the cleaning, baking, decorating, and organizing I have to do for our family get-together I volunteered to take on this year. My Pinterest boards are exploding.

A Christmas party and Christmas concerts are coming up soon.  I hope I’ll still be in the spirit when Christmas Eve arrives.

This might be me

In other news, I’ve been watching Jessica Jones and I’m hooked. Krysten Ritter is so good in it. I was surprised at how dark it could be. That’s been eating up a lot of my time.

I’m just one book away from completing my Goodreads challenge. I have a couple of reviews to write this week for the blog too. I don’t think my TBR list is ever going to stop growing. I ordered books this week for myself for Christmas. So… yeah, I’m not helping my case.

I need to catch up with everyone! To the blogs!

  1. 'Tis the season! It is definitely one of the most hectic times of the year for me as well. I honestly don't know how we manage year in, year out, and yet we do. I am sure you holiday celebrations will be gorgeous and wonderful. Good luck!

    1. Every year it gets hectic, yet everything that needs to get done, does.

  2. I started Jessica Jones today and I'm enjoying it so far. You're right, it's darker than I thought it would be.

  3. Almost everyone in our neighborhood is decorated except for us and I don't know when that's going to happen since Carl plans to visit his dad this week. I don't have many people to shop for but have no idea what to get most people this year. I'm starting to feel panicky!

  4. I'm just staring blankly at you. I thought I was doing so well on my Christmas shopping but I do NOT have 95% of my gifts taken care of. You mad Christmas genius, you.

  5. I am impressed you're so far ahead with your shopping, especially since I know I should start soon...
