Ten Winter Reads

I caught the Today Show on the weekend. They had a segment called Ten Books to Snuggle up with this Winter. It's a good combination of new releases both serious reading (Sacred Games) and not-so-serious (Because She Can). I was glad to see a new Maeve Binchy (or as my mil calls her, Mavis Bachinsky. lol) I'm a fan of her books.

  1. I've read Eat, Pray, Love. It was very different - the woman got really deep into meditation, but it was interesting.

Just what I need - 10 more books to add to my TBR list!

  2. Binchy's Tara Road is on my TBR pile. I think it was one of Oprah's suggestions from long ago....one of these days.

  3. Tara Road is a good one. There were a couple of spin offs from that one about the restaurant mentioned in the book.

  4. Thanks for the link--looks like some interesting reads here and a great assortment of topics.

Sacred Games is already on my list as a must read, but I have quite a few to get through before I tackle this huge tome.

  5. I like Maeve Binchy a lot too, and have read most of her books. I own a few in hardback, and get the rest of them from the library. Will be looking for this one at the library, probably, since my "TBR" (to be read) stack seems to be growing by leaps and bounds lately :)

    Have a great day!
