I've noticed that too about Pinterest. I don't repin much...I mostly like to skim through the pictures. But after awhile I get disgusted because Pinterest seems to perpetuate that whole idea of keeping up with the Joneses. And the fitness pins are scary because people are pinning skinny skinny people or super duper toned people, but not the reality that is most of us.

Interesting thoughts on Pinterest. I think that it is because Pinterest is very much about aesthetic appeal, and we all know that in today's society there vast majority only see slim as being attractive.

I'm not on Pinterest (I just haven't seen the appeal yet, I guess) but that does sound scary. I see people eating next to nothing and going below a healthy weight into too thin proportions and that's just scary. I see it enough on places that are supposed to be about healthy weight loss and bodies! And fat-shaming is just awful. :(
