In the article in the Atlantic Gottleib made some good points about her own life, as in if she could do it again she&#39;d like a partner to help her with the kid she had (not knocking single mums at all, but it is hard to be the only parent and who wouldn&#39;t wish for someone to help out so you can shower occassionally?) but nothing that should be universally applied. <br /><br />As for the claims that this book is going to remove all our &#39;naive&#39; ideas and too high expectations that sounds like explaining to us women how we&#39;re unrealistic and stupid yet again. I&#39;m not asking for flowers and chocolates and diamonds, all I want is someone who isn&#39;t dismissive of my feelings, who I don&#39;t want to kill afer spending a couple of hours with five years down the line, and who tries hard at a relationship.
