Lazy Sunday Thoughts Like Naps

Oh Hi! It is I, the book blogger who should be book blogging. That doesn’t seem to be happening lately.

I did write one post this week for Monday, but you won’t find it here. I’ll be over on Project Gutenberg Project blogging about Flora Sandes. I just found out about her and now I’m obsessed with her. You should really check out that post. Here’s a photo of the woman in question.

Ain’t she something? So please go to Project Gutenberg Project on Monday.

Presently, I am reading On the Mountains by Elizabeth Von Arnim. I’m loving the voice of the narrator, but whenever I start reading I fall asleep. It’s not that I’m bored, although it is a slow paced story, but I’m so tired at night that I can’t help it. I do like the book. It’s a ladies travelling book. Those are my catnip.

I’ve also received an ARC of an audio version of The Buried Giant by Kazuo Ishiguro, but iTunes hates the files I get for these review books and they’re all out of order now. #bookbloggerproblems Once I get that sorted out, I will listen to it. I’m looking forward to it.

I’m still picking away at Moby-Dick. Did you know that Moby-Dick is supposed to be hyphenated? I did not. I learn something new everyday.

What else? I have a birthday coming up. Yay-boo. No big celebration for me, since I’ll be working that day. Maybe I can have a nap.

I hope you all are doing fine. I’m sorry I’m not around much but life gets in the way. The great thing about hobbies is that they are always there to pick up again later. This blog might suffer from lost followers and low stats from time to time because of that, but I’ll always be back. Keeping it simple will get me through those times.

Have a great Sunday, all!

  2. I feel like every single one of my posts could start with " Sorry I haven't been visiting you lately." Ugh. When will we get extra hours in our day? Hope you have a wonderful wonderful birthday and maybe even a nap. I like naps. :)

  4. I didn't know Moby-Dick was hyphenated either. Hmmm. You learn something new ever day...and about your numbers? I'm right there with you. I haven't read much this year either, but hey, at least we're still reading. I think that's the important thing, not the numbers.

  5. I'm starting my Sunday-night depression now. The weekend is over already??? I didn't get anything done! Oh, well, there's always next weekend.
