Armchair BEA: Wrapping It Up

Last year, even though I helped organize Armchair BEA, I was working and felt like I couldn’t participate as much as I wanted. This year, I wasn’t sure how much I’d participate. I didn’t want to feel overwhelmed. After my difficulties with blogging the last couple of years, I didn’t want to inadvertently cause myself a set back! Maybe that was the right way to approach Armchair BEA or it’s a sign that I have my blogging mojo back, but I REALLY enjoyed this year’s event.

I ended up posting a lot more than I thought I would and attended 4 Twitter parties. I even managed to visit quite a few participants.

If you missed my posts this week, here they are:

I really enjoyed the topic of choice, not just writing my own but reading what other bloggers chose to discuss. There was so much variety. Really, go check out Friday’s link up.

The downside to Armchair BEA is that I didn’t get any reading done! I know what I’ll be doing this weekend.

  1. Ha! I didn't get much reading done, either. Although I finished two books, but only because I was near the end. Now, I have to think about writing reviews!

I'm glad Armchair BEA worked for you and that your mojo is back.

  2. I’ve had so much fun visiting all the blogs on Armchair BEA. This is my first year and I’ve had such a good time that I plan to come back next time. I’ve added a ton of books to my TBR list as well as added a lot of book friends on twitter, goodreads, and bloglovin. Thank you so much for participating and making it a great first year for me.

  6. Yay!! I'm so glad you enjoyed this year's event! I didn't get much reading done myself either, but we still had fun, right?!?

In my wrap-up that I posted on Monday, I made it public that I will not be working with Armchair BEA next year like I have in the past. I will still be around for mentoring or answering questions, but it's time for me to enjoy all the posts or attend BEA myself!

  7. I really enjoyed BEA this year too. I wish I could've bounced around blogs more but I had family in town. I did have my posts typed up ahead of time so that was a big help. I am about to look through your posts!
