The VIDA report is depressing but not really shocking you know?
ReplyDeleteAnd Whedon's Shakespeare is something I'm still wrapping my mind around.
The whole marrying a fictional character thing is a bit odd. People always seem to pick horrible men! I do think Gilbert from Anne of Green Gables would make a good husband though!
ReplyDeleteHa! Peeta can TRY to be sexy. And not really pull it off.
ReplyDeleteWow, those bookstores are awesome. The penguin covers are interesting - some I like, some are not that good! And really, people would marry Legolas? Ok, Orlando Bloom as Legolas, yes! but the elf himself has a wandering heart.....where is Mr Darcy on this list? Lovely set of Bookish stuff, thanks, Chris!
ReplyDeleteGale would've made a much better poster. Peeta had to sit down so his shortness isn't so obvious. ;-p
ReplyDeleteI was unsure about the idea of Joss Wheldon doing Shakespeare (as mush as I love Buffy), the trailer has not convinced me, but I'll probably still see it.
