It’s weird, but we haven’t had much snow yet this year. It’s really weird to read about everyone else’s snow and look outside and see grass. We’re actually getting a little today. A good snow day gives me a reason to be lazy, but since this is not one I guess I’ll have to do some stuff now. Let’s get started.
*Penguin’s 1984 is amazing and appropriate.
*Conspiracy theories about books. They’re out there. Trust no one.
*Like balls? How about a recreation of the Netherfield Ball from Pride and Prejudice?
*A paperless library: what do you think? (The article says “bookless” but ebooks are books, it’s right in the name!)
*Just so you know, Dan Brown has a new book out in May.
*Because you might not know what to read next: Start Here.
*Etsy Love: A literary t-shirt from Art by LJ Grove. What’s your genre?
Have a good one!
You find the best cat pictures and captions!
ReplyDeleteI love the t-shirt! Oh, that is so beautiful....all the genres are mine! How to convince hubby I need this, that is my challenge now. It's perfect :-)
ReplyDeleteObviously Holmes and Watson are in love. Duh! I never thought of Dorothy being a witch, though. Hmmm, now I feel the need to look over my books for possible "conspiracies."
ReplyDeleteI so want to go to that ball!!!
ReplyDeleteI laughed out loud with the picture. That is hilarious.. and kind of how I feel today, too! A paperless library seems like a good idea because of the rising use of ebooks (which are still books.. I agree!)

Totally besotted with the kitty pic. Isabel did something similar, today. I carried a couple sweaters into my bedroom, hung them from the doorknob and left the room. A few minutes later, I returned to the room for reasons I don't recall and when I turned around, there was little Izzy, peeking out from under a sweater that was dragging against the floor. I laughed out loud. Totally pissed of Fiona, actually. She hates it when I gush about how adorable Izzy is.
