That sums up any teenager around here. I was like that myself when I was a teen. We’re impervious to cold as young Canadians. Thank goodness we haven’t had any snow yet. I can wait for the cold weather, thanks.
*Hold on to something, Ladies! The Outlander series is a little closer to becoming a real thing.
*I thought Canadian book prices were crazy. Sarah looks at prices of books in a Australian bookstore. Australia you have my sympathies.
*Edith Wharton gets her copy of Jane Eyre back.
*If you're like me and have seen those Penguin postcards (and love them), but have no idea what you would do with them, here’s a cool art project from How About Orange.
*So Lord Byron’s copy of Frankenstein was sold.
*In case you missed it yesterday, here’s Google’s tribute to Bram Stoker.
*The origins of some fairy tales would put the writer’s of Saw to shame.
*Not Another Twilight Fan Fiction Novel.
*Etsy Love: This is some interesting art, Quote on Canvas from Stoic Designs.
Before I go, I just want to add some Shameless Self-Promotion. Today I’m over at The Estella Society trying to hook up Edmund Dantes with a lady. Go see who.
Have a good one!
Can you imagine owning Wharton's copy of Jane Eyre! Be still my heart. I love the Penguin postcard project too!
ReplyDeleteSo Cal is known for girls in short shorts and UGG boots. The warm/cold thing is interesting here but hey...55 is cold for us.
ReplyDeletehaha loved your pic, I have only been to Canada once and it was when it was warm, but where I live can get pretty cold too in the winter time. Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteHellls yeah I'm 100% for shipping classic characters.
ReplyDeleteI live in CO and I hate the cold. :( Once it gets below 50 I put on the sweaters and hide in the house.
I'm loving that Penguins postcards project. Very cool :)
ReplyDeleteTeens are the same around here! I'm in northern Wisconsin (practically Canada) My youngest daughter was sporting shorts and a sweatshirt yesterday. Weird kids ;)
Lots of good bookish buzz this week.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your sympathies re book prices. I know lots of us Aussie bloggers have mentioned it before but I am not sure if everyone could quite believe how expensive they really are!
ReplyDeleteAll clinches in one move. Thanks so much for the wealth of the resource. Interesting Forwards
