How could anyone say no to that face?! He’s telling you to read this links post.
Another week has flown by. It will be June before you know it. I’ve been busy helping out with Armchair BEA and some stuff at home. I haven’t spent much time collecting my links but here’s what I got!
*Speaking of Armchair BEA: Big news everyone!
*Yet another reason why book burning is dangerous.
*Snarky questions for your next book club meeting.
*Want to write a novel? There’s a formula for that.
*Comparing the new Penguin Library to the one from 1963.
*So, the trailer for The Great Gatsby. It’s…interesting.
*Etsy Love: Advertise the lifestyle Eat, Sleep, Read with this button from Designs by Linda Nee Too.
That’s all I found this week. How about you watch this video of a slinky on a treadmill? It’s oddly compelling.
That slinky video was kinda awesome. :D
ReplyDeletelol! I know, I was watching thinking, "Is it going to fall? No! It's still going!"
DeleteI was worried there might be a sad ending. I love happy endings ... or just the ones that leave you hanging, like that one. *sigh*
DeleteCan't WAIT for Gatsby. Love love love the trailer but I'm a huge Baz fan.
ReplyDeleteAm planning to join a new book club, so the questions may come in handy. hehe
There are days when I feel like a slinky on a treadmill. ;)
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, those book club questions were HILARIOUS. "Do you think the author's hot?" is totally something I would ask during a book club meeting.
I refuse to watch the slinky on the treadmill video, mainly becuase I know I would end up watching it all the way to the end.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the book club questions...they make me almost want to re-join my bookclub just for the opportunity to toss a few out there. :-D
ReplyDeleteAnd what's with the music for the Gatsby trailer??
