Friday Bookish Buzz: Teeny Buzz

Marshmallows

That's me but replace 'marshmallows' with 'Halloween candy.'

This is going to be a brief one today. There was a death in the family and I must go to a funeral. Fun times. Also it's Remembrance Day here in Canada. Give a thought to veterans and those serving the country.

*Kobo bought by the Japanese. I wonder what that will mean for Kobo users.

*A Brief History of Time Travel by Flavorwire.

*Plagiarism. James Plagiarism. Assassin of Secrets pulled from shelves.

*Esi Edugyan wins the 2011 Giller Prize.

*Aw, Stephen King is so nice it's scary. He's trying to help out folks having a hard time keeping warm.

*A mini-magazine from a young Charlotte Bronte up for bid.

*Etsy Love: Something for the bookish men, Oscar Wilde quote cufflinks from Jezebel Charms.

Have a good weekend!

  1. I'm so sorry about your loss.

I have a Kobo so I wonder about the future of Kobo. I need to get my hands on the Esi Edugyan book.

Take care of yourself and have a great weekend.
