There will be unbuckling of belts here this weekend as it's THANKSGIVING!!!! Or as Americans like to call it, Canadian Thanksgiving. Or the rest of the world, Monday. Anyway I love Thanksgiving because it's an excuse to eat a ton of carbs. The winters are long here and we need to build up an extra layer of insulation to get us through, like bears. Yeah, that's all factual.

Have a great Thanksgiving weekend!
ReplyDeleteThat looks so much like the picture I posted of my cat this week!
ReplyDeleteHow do you expect us Americans to remember your holiday when it's not on the same day as ours??
ReplyDeleteKidding!
Happy carb-fest!
Happy Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteYes, of course we do have to distinguish your Canadian Thanksgiving from ours. If we didn't say "Canadian" we'd just get confused. ;)
I always love your Friday kitties. Have a super weekend!
Jill & Bookfool- I laugh at the Canadians on Twitter who call it "Canadian Thanksgiving." I mean, if you're Canadian just call it Thanksgiving! And I also refer to your Thanksgiving as American Thanksgiving just to be fair. :)
ReplyDeleteI never thought of that extra layer of insulation we need for winter. It completely takes away any guilt I was going to feel for eating the two turkey dinners on Sunday. (both families want us for meals)
ReplyDeleteHappy (just plain) Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving!
