Maybe they are really The Three Musketeers and that other guy.
Looks like it's going to be a rainy weekend. That's too bad since the leaves are looking impressive this week. It would be nice to drive around the Trail, an annual fall tradition in these parts. We also need to get our pumpkins for Halloween soon. I can't believe how fast October is flying by!
So what is new out there?
*Decemberist band member writes creepy kids' books.
*Kate Beaton says Thanks!
*A book, not a house, made of straw by Margaret Atwood.
*Chris Cleave asks, should novelists review other novelists?
*I would not read it in a box with fox but a Dr Seuss version of The Call of Cthulhu is okay with me.
*Farm living is the life for me! Or reading about it is: a list of 10 farming novels.
*Another sign of the apocalypse, Tyra Banks's writes a best seller.
*John Cusack is Edgar Allan Poe in The Raven.
*Etsy Love: A reminder to Read from William Dohman.
Remember Julian Smith's "I'm Reading a Book." These guys made an acoustic version.

I drove around the Cabot Trail a couple weeks ago and it was amazing!
ReplyDeleteI really want to drive the trail in the fall. I have never done so before...
ReplyDeleteTeena- I keep meaning to do it again. The ride down French Mountain is pretty hairy. When the husband drives, I just close my eyes and think of every prayer I know! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteKailana- Someday you have to, it's spectacular.
OMG, I just stopped and threw up in my mouth a little at Tyra Banks's "bestseller".
