Just a gentle reminder to return those books or Library Kitty will get ya! I'd prefer a visit from the Easter Bunny. Is he Coming to your house? Don't eat too much chocolate.
What's up in the book world?
*I don't know what's going on with Greg Morgenson except he has plenty of hot water for all that tea.
*James Frey is ready to face his nemesis, Oprah, one more time.
*Very sad: books for new library burned.
*These are some fancy looking home libraries.
*Good news for American library and Kindle users.
*Fashion guru and bookavore Karl Lagerfeld not only has an awesome library but is creating a book fragrance perfume. I'm not sure what to think of this.
* The house that inspired The Great Gatsby to be demolished.
*Jennifer Egan wins Pulitzer, disses Chick Lit.
*If you're unable to attend Book Expo America in New York this year, join Armchair BEA. Registration now open. We have lots of tricks up our sleeves!
*Etsy Love: Pretty paper stars made from vintage pages from She Pin Tea. As always, I wonder what book she used.
Have a great weekend!

Thanks for the link to the story on Jenniger Egan (Chick-lit). Silly woman!
ReplyDeleteI love chick-lit AND I love good literary fiction. And both have their own right to exist. So there, Jenny!
I was sad to see the Gatsby house come down.
ReplyDeleteIt's really sad Egan felt the need to do that. Boo for the destruction of the Gatsby house and Yay for library books on Kindle. So freakin excited about that.
