That cat kinda freaks me out. Yesterday I finished The Little Stranger by Sarah Waters. Talk about freaky! It was such a good book but it kept me up at night. I'll have a review up soon but for now I'll just tell you to read it if you haven't already. Any big plans this weekend?
I wonder if there is anything freaky in book news this week.

*Do you only read nice novels?
*Want to be a good writer? Watch Jersey Shore. (Say what?)
*Come on Melbourne Cake Show, you got to give props to Dickens!
*Textbook controversy down in Virginia.
*Wow! Someone loves Wilbur! $155000 for Charlotte Web's artwork.
*Etsy Love: Gibberish2 has many "read" related products including this "Read" necklace. Love it!
Finally, I loved this skit when I saw it on 22 Minutes, thought I'd share it with you all. Gordon Pinsent gives an emotional reading from Justin Bieber's memoir.
Have a good one!

Thanks for the links - lots of interesting stuff there. I love the Twilight LOLcat, and the Justin Bieber reading is priceless. =D

I need to get back to The Little Stranger! Freaky sounds delightful. :P
ReplyDeleteThat cat is seriously freaky! Ahhh!
ReplyDeleteI'm still debating whether or not I'll read The Little Stranger. I've heard it's good, but I'm not generally a fan of books that keep me up at night!
I love all the treasures found on etsy! Thanks for the link.
ReplyDeleteThe Pinsent/ Bieber bit is funny, though it's pretty much the same bit as when Bea Arthur read from Pam Anderson's novel at the latter's roast. Okay, the Pinsent one is much, much cleaner, but still.
