Please don't dress up your cat. Please. Won't someone think of the kitties?! So we survived the first week of school. Yay! As for me, I went to the library (quelle surprise) and picked up Mockingjay. I'll be adding my thoughts to the one billion others out there. No hurricanes this weekend though the weather has gone from driving-with-the-top-down to Winnie-the-Pooh-Blustery in a blink. Very fallish!
Anyway, what's new out there?
*Reading inspires delicious treats. I could use a The Help cupcake from Cupcake Project.
*Wow, people really don't like Tony Blair.
*Some pricey books are up for auction at Sotheby's.
*Wall Street Journal to have a weekly book review.
*Book burning, it's never a good idea.
*Save the date: The 24 Hour Readathon is October 9th. Plan your snacks accordingly.
*Etsy Love: Whimsical and pretty Girl With Books from Katie Green's shop.
*If you entered my The Art of Racing in the Rain giveaway, the winner is Anita. Chosen at random from Random.org. I've sent the winner an email and the winner's info to the publicist. Thanks for participating all!
Happy Weekending!

I'm reading Mockingjay now, and I find it so strange to review a book when I know that everyone else has already read it. For some reason, this really throws me off my game...
ReplyDeleteHave fun reading it!
Congratulations to Anita!
ReplyDeleteI am going to have to make those cupcakes!!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad about the Wall Street Journal...maybe they'll start a new trend.
ReplyDeleteI would give someone else's right leg for blustery right now. Greyson and I just went out for errands and it's still well into the 90s here. Ugg!
ReplyDeleteCool about the Wall Street Journal. Not a fan of that paper necessarily, but always a fan of a book section.
