Challenge Roundup for June & Daphne Update

I didn't accomplish much in the challenge department this month, but I attribute that to having finished most of them last month. My challenge tank is on E.

In related news, the Canadian Books Challenge is starting for the 4th year! I was successful last time; hopefully, I'll do as well this time.

I did read one book for my own challenge: Daphne du Maurier Challenge, The Infernal World of Branwell Bronte. I've already completed the challenge but I will keep reading or watching Daphne related books and movies. My participants are very, very quiet this month. Park Benches and Book Ends read Jamaica Inn, which Jess gave a 5/5.

To inspire you all to read more Daphne du Maurier how about reading this Mistress of Menace article from Guardian.

That was my uneventful month of challenges. How was yours?

  1. Happy Canada Day!

I did finish one more book for the What's in a Name Challenge -- four more to go.

Another challenge I was working on, The World Party Challenge, was cancelled, but I like the premise of it so I'm going to try to keep it up on my own.

Thanks for mentioning the Canadian Books Challenge -- I just signed up. I might live in the US now but I'm still a Canadian girl at heart.
