Read-a-thon: Entering Hour 9 & Mini-Challenge

S'up?!I'm cruising along and finished The Forest of Hands and Teeth. Wowzers! Talk about suspenseful. I'm considering reading Me Talk Pretty Some Day to cleanse the palate.

Okay for Kate's Mini-Challenge, she wanted a soundtrack for a scene from our reads. I think I have the perfect scene and song.

In Brideshead Revisited by Evelyn Waugh Chapter 5, Charles, Sebastian and a friend decide to get drunk and visit "Ma Mayfield's" a seedy club. It's the 1920's and I can just imagine loud jazz and flappers dancing. I can see Christina Aguilera singing "Candyman" in a modern movie version.

Hour 9:

Books: Brideshead Revisited- 32 pgs, The Forest of Hands and Teeth- 308 pgs.

Snacks: Tea, a muffin and a lemon square.

Attitude: Indecisive.

BookBlips: vote it up!
