Today is the last day of BBAW. A day to reflect on what our blogs are and what they may become. Amy wanted us to talk about our blogging goals. I'd like my blog to have more visitors and more comments by this time next year. I'd like to come up with more unique ideas for my blog. As for what I'm proud of? I'm proud of how hard I work at it!

Okay, so onto The Friday Bookish Buzz. If you are a new visitor, every Friday I post links of the interesting stories I've found on the net over the past week. Enjoy!

*Alright, already. You know Dan Brown's new book is out but you'll be relieved that the Masons like it. Whew, that was a close one.

*But what is next for Dan Brown? Give the guy a hand with the Dan Brown Sequel Generator. It's hours of fun.

*Some drool worthy bookshelves. In my dreams... (Thanks Rebecca!)

*Wanna read some weird books? Well, here you go.

*Uh-oh! You don't want to make Oprah angry. You won't like her when she's angry.

*A Harry Potter theme park? Is it just me or are the photoshopped children a little creepy?

*Kanye just can't stop himself. He goes back in time to mess with the Tudors.

*Publisher Soft Skull buys a Twittered book. Personally, I hate Twittered books.

*In YA news, Wicked Lovely acquired by Universal while Speak finds controversy in Temecula.

*Etsy Love: This is amazing! The Fall of the House of Usher print from Sophy Tuttle.

Hope you enjoyed BBAW if you were a part of the celebrations. Congrats to all the winners! Next week back to business. Have a great weekend!

  2. Love that Fall of the House of Usher print!!

I agree with you about twittered books. Don't care for them, myself. I prefer using twitter for communication - whether conversations or just sound bites with links to blog things I might have otherwise missed.

  3. Haha weird books - critter cuisine has the best cover and I totally want 'The gothic guide to homemaking' just to see what kind of romper suits they dream up for their kids.

  5. I heard the plot of Angels & Demons on the radio this morning and was amazed it wasn't a joke. So obviously, the Dan Brown plot generator raised a smile with me!

  6. Here's the conversation my mom and I had about the Dan Brown sequel generator:

My mom: You can put in a city and a conspiracy group and get the plot of a Dan Brown novel!

Me: So, basically they're saying a monkey could write his books?

My mom: Um, yeah. It's really fun, though!

Jodie- How does one be gothic while vaccuming I wonder?

Gnoegnoe- Thanks! I'll check it out.
