  1. Chris...did you page through this blog? I thought you meant just the one post. But it seems to have ALL your posts!

Good luck with resolving the problem!

  2. I don't think those others feeds usually have any subscribers. Why would someone do that?

I'm not sure the solution. Add that as a footer to your RSS feed normally? I hope you can figure it out!

  3. Stephanie- Yes, they have the whole feed. I discovered this when I checked my Feedburner page.

Rebecca- I sent an email to an address associated to the blog but it is a Domain By Proxy address so I don't know if it will do any good. I'm not sure what my next step is. I added this message to my Feed footer. Hopefully the domain or Wordpress will see that it's a spam blog and shut it down.

  5. Hi Chris, heard of this earlier today via your Twitter feed. There are other blogs taken as well; I've contacted them to let them know; hopefully you can all work together to get it resolved.

  9. Hello, Chris. I really felt so annoyed at whoever's running that pathetic site. I wonder what can we do about this.

  11. Chris, I'm so sorry you're having to deal with this. I just visited the blog in question and see that your feed is not the only one being stolen. :(

Your situation here has given me some insight about such things though and I'll likely post a comment every once in a while stating ownership rights and such just to keep things as honest as possible should someone be doing the same to my feed.

Good luck, I hope you get things squared away as soon as possible.

No need to worry any further. We've taken down the blog since it was not suppose to go public. The same thing happened to us 2 months ago and we tried figuring out a way to avoid this. At first we weren't bothered by this, but when the culprit started to rank higher at the se's than our own site, we became annoyed.
This is an issue with blogging and need to be addressed by blog administrators.
    Anyways, please accept our apology.

  15. Chris as another victim of the stolen feed scam, I too am relieved the perpetrator is shut down. The only good thing to come out of it was the amount of support that came from within the blogging community for those of us who were having our content pirated.

My thanks to all those who expressed concern regarding the issue.
