I am jealous! I have tried nasturtiums 2 years in a row and have failed miserably. Maybe they don't like the hot/dry weather (I'm in Texas)? I did hear they are heat tolerant though...
Also, they are very drought and heat tolerant. They thing is that they take over everything. If you've got a huge area to cover, this is a good one for that. The seeds they drop are huge!

Gnoegnoe and Jams- Yes, I've tried them. Very different.
ReplyDeleteLaura- Mine fade in the heat of summer. Some fertilizer usually perks them up.
Novel Menagerie- I keep mine in a pot on the deck. I might try the front yard next year.
