We actually got some heat this week. I'm not a big fan of hot weather though. Sunshine I'm all for! I can't believe July is nearly over. Eep! I want to read a lot more before September.
This weekend is a long weekend. Yippee! Maybe we'll do something fun if the nice weather holds out. Any plans?

ReplyDeleteIn a photography class last year, I did a presentation on Andre Kertesz. I love his work--it is fantastic. I gave notice to his 'people reading.' There are some fantastic photos! (Like a man sitting on a roof, and a child eating ice cream on top of a pile of newspapers.) And, of course, let's not forget how fantastic Kertesz' 'titles' for his photos are.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you, I like the sunshine..hate the brutal summer heat. I can't wait for winter here! I just don't seem to read as much in the summer. I guess the heat melts my concentration!
ReplyDeleteI actually like the idea for a library/book themed ice cream flavor. Why not? They have themed flavors for everything else.

I love the fairy tale pendant. I'm not sure I'd wear it so much as use it as a bookmark, though!
