It's been a busy week for me. Lots of running the chicklet here and there. I'm looking forward to a weekend of nice weather, so the weather channel says anyway. Maybe I'll do some reading outside.

*Have you joined my Eco Reading Challenge yet? Please check it out.

*How was the London Book Fair? Let's find out.

*Hey Grammar Police! The Elements of Style just turned 50.

*Aw, sweet! A mother/daughter book club. What a great idea!

*She must have really needed some advice. A postal worker might go to jail for stealing a book.

*Like you haven't already heard, you know that DaVinci guy? He wrote another book.

*Hilarious! Carolyn Jean Jackson rewrites a spam message with a Regency twist.

*Sickening is right. Someone peed on 40 books at the library. So many questions.

*Olive Kitteridge wins the 2009 Pulitzer.

*Not that you would toss a book but... here's some ways to recycle them.

*That's quite a fine! A looted book is returned to the library 145 years after it was taken.

*Etsy Love: A reproduction of a Vintage Poster from Beauregard's shop or you can get it on a shirt.

Have a great weekend everyone!

  3. I have a feeling that when Dan Brown's next book finally comes out, that's ALL we'll hear about. I'm almost dreading it.

It's supposed to be warm here too. I've got some spring cleaning I need to do, but I hope to get outside and enjoy the nice weather. It's been so ugly here lately!

  4. Supposely it's going to rain all weekend here... so I'm going to escape in a book instead of getting wet this weekend like I did last weekend.

  5. I love your link roundup - you include things that I don't find anywhere else!

We're going to have lovely weather for the Festival of Books here in Los Angeles :-). Have a great weekend!

  6. I'll try some punchlines for the book pee story:

    1. I heard he was reading Judge Judy's Don't Piss On My Book and Tell Me It's Raining.

    2. I don't think he gets the whole idea of bathroom books.

    3. You don't want to know what he did to the other 80,000 books.

    4. Why do they specify "at the library"? Would peeing on 40 books at home make it okay?

    5. Pavlov's lesser-known experiment.

    6. I heard he was reading an alphabet book and it was missing the letter "P".

    7. I'm thinking that the library shouldn't have kept 40 books in the urinal.

    8. They could have been on fire. He might actually be a hero.

    9. The Dewey Decimal System is planning on adding some numbers to indicate pee-stained books.

    10. Imagine what this guy would do in your swimming pool?

  9. Kailana- Saturday was awesome! I spent the whole day outside.

    Nik- For me too :).

JS- Since you can preorder it now, yes, it's all we'll hear about- like no one else has ever written a book before.

Rumour- I hope you had a good reading weekend.

Florinda- Have fun at the festival!

John- Haha! I guess it's a bit more shocking that way. I can just imagine the reaction of the person who found them in that condition.

    Alyce- Thanks!
