While winter plods on, I've had an unusual visitor to my backyard. One lone robin has shown up a few times, the last just a minute ago. Every time I see him I do a double take. I'm not used to seeing robins in January. The first ones I see are in mid-March, singing their little hearts out. Not all robins migrate, apparently, and this little guy, for whatever reason, has decided to stick out the winter here. Maybe it's a sign of an early spring?
Anyway...

Have a great weekend!
We used to see Robins all the time, but it seems the Blue Jays have chased them off. As pretty as the Jays are, they are a nuisance, they even swoop at our cat.
ReplyDeleteHard to believe Spears would get 14mil for a memoir - what more can be said about her that the tabloids haven't already. Hopefully she's hired a writer for it - if she writes as bad as she speaks publicly it's likely to make the eyes bleed :D
Thanks for the great links.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a good weekend!
And I was going to Inkheart this afternoon!
ReplyDeleteThe bookcharms are almost enough of a reason to make me want to give up my Kindle. Great post.
ReplyDeleteOh boy! Britney Spear's memoir, I- can- hardly- wait. I will have to buy one for everyone I know. LOL! (Teddy's sarcasm.)
ReplyDeleteI know at least one word Britney can spell.
ReplyDeleteMan am I ever looking forward to Coraline! I really hope that it is a good movie.
ReplyDeleteJoanne- The jays are awful but I have trouble with crows. They work in gangs to knock all the seed out of my feeder.
ReplyDeleteNik- You're welcome.
Scribbit- You'll have to tell us your opinion.
Gay- I'd love a Kindle but we can't get them here yet.
Teddy- LOL!
John- Ha! Somehow I don't think she came up with that herself.
Kim- I looks really good.
