It's winter...wait no it's summer...er, what is this? We had snow on Sunday but yesterday I washed the car. It was summer weather. Here in Nova Scotia you never know what you're going to get and you can't follow the calendar.
Anyway whatever the weather where you are I hope you have a good book.
*This is sad. Michael Crichton dies at 66. He wrote a lot of bestsellers.
*Aw, Pooh. Someone want to buy this for me?
*Even in a bad economy, books will survive.
*Remember last week's Google story? Well, they're already getting trouble from Harvard.
*Wow! This woman amazes me. She voluntarily returns a book- 61 years overdue!
*How to confuse a booklover: do this.
*Finally Etsy Love: A couple of pins from Barrel of Monkeys: "Don't Just a Book By It's Movie" and "Turn Off Your TV and Read" Awesome!

ReplyDeleteThose links are great! And I love the cat thing...it's great!
ReplyDeleteThe weather is pretty crazy, huh? I went to Halifax last night and since I figured we would be there late and it would be getting cold, I wore a sweater and my leather jacket! I was roasting! Places had their heat on and it was just sweltering in there and going outside didn't really offer that much relief! I switched to just wearing the sweater, but even that was too warm at times. And then just a couple days ago I was froze wearing the exact same thing! Good ole N.S.!
ReplyDeleteThat's the best cheezburger photo!
ReplyDeleteThe lady who returned the book . . . I was surprised to actually see something about a place I know of. Holland Hall is a private school in Tulsa, my hubby's hometown, and we went to a big book sale there, once. I still hold that book sale memory in my heart. LOL We bibliophiles are such wacky fun, aren't we?
My fav I Can Haz Cheezburger photo. :-)
ReplyDeleteI hear ya on the weather thing. On Monday, I didn't need a jacket because it was 70 degrees. Today (Saturday) it's snowing.
Michael Crichton's death saddened my whole family. We all loved his work.
