Yes, I skipped The Bookish Buzz two weeks in a row. My excuse is mostly laziness but also I had Book Tours the last two Fridays so I gave those authors the whole day. Anyway, are you ready for the gobblins next week?
*A bizarre book banning story: Suicidal Bunnies?
*Apparently, you don't need a publisher or an agent, just a really proud father.
*Etsy Love: Magnetic bookmark from Emsan.
*Bookworms Carnival: Literary Gothic, just in time for Halloween.
*John has kids versus comic books and he promises something spooky next week.
*A spooky site to get you in the mood for Halloween. Lots of creepy 'true' stories and haunted places.
That's it for me this week. Stay tuned for a review of I Am Legend (the book) and Martha Stewart new book, Cooking School.
I love the kitty picture and the magnetic bookmark!
ReplyDeletethose bookmarks look very handy!
ReplyDeleteThose bookmarks are really cool.
ReplyDeleteAw, that lolcat almost makes me cry.
ReplyDeleteI love bookmarks :-)
ReplyDeleteI love bookmarks :-)
ReplyDeleteWow that article about the Bunny Suicides book was interesting. I've read the book and personally don't find it all that offensive, I thought it was creative satire and if anything it is much less dangerous than most non-fiction required reading in high school libraries.
ReplyDeleteLove, love the kitty photo.
ReplyDeleteBunny Suicides? Weird, but I guess whatever gets kids reading . . . but, weird.
Book Zombie & Bookfool- Yeah, weird but I can't see it being worse than the Coyote getting bashed in the head by anvils.
ReplyDeleteCarrie- Those kitties are sweet aren't they?
I love those bookmarks too, guys!
Actually, I promised a "Zombie Edition." I'm not sure how spooky it'll be...
ReplyDeleteThanks for the plug, though.
I like when people with strong opinions can't actually articulate why they hate something so much in any coherent manner. I don't get why people feel the need to burn something just because they disagree with it!
