The Friday Bookish Buzz & Weekly Geeks #14

I can't believe Monday is September. Of course, at the moment it feels like summer is over. It's rainy and windy- a typical autumn day. Oh well, I love autumn!

*Make sure you get your books back to the library on time or face the consequences. She doesn't seem that upset about it.

*Winners of the Worst Analogies Written by High School Students. I don't know, some of them are pretty inspired, like "His thoughts tumbled in his head, making and breaking alliances like underpants in a dryer without Cling Free."

*If you go out in the woods today, keep your Sharpies at home.

*Field Report: your writing could win you cash.

*Dewey gives away books.

*Rice vs Shelden this week.

*Carl is already signing up participants for RIP III. It was such fun last year.

*A little D.I.Y. from Martha: seashell bookends.

*And for this week's Etsy Love: Bookgirl now has a shop were she sells her fabulous handcrafted books. Congrats!

Now for my Weekly Geeks, a favorite spot for reading, my new chaise lounge. So comfy!
