This pair of eagles reside at the wildlife park near my home. Both suffered an accident. After their rescue and recovery, they were taken to the park to live. Neither one can be released into the wild because their injuries were so severe. Poor guys.
More Wordless
That is a shame but they will have a good home for life. Happy WW
ReplyDeleteAt least they have a good home. Neat picture!
ReplyDeleteHow sad! I'm glad they have a good home, though.
ReplyDeleteBless you for caring for these majestic creatures.
ReplyDeleteAwwwww, too bad, but it's good to know that there are places like this to let them live as full a life as can be!!
ReplyDeleteHope you can stop by my blog now!! Have a great Wordless kinda day.
I saw a photo in the newspaper yesterday - an eagle had the top part of his beak shot off but they were making him a prosthesis, amazing what can be done these days, and so great that people care enough to do something for these marvellous creatures.
ReplyDeleteSad to hear they were badly injured. But real glad to know they're being well taken care of currently. Hopefully they'll be released back to the wild soon :)
ReplyDeleteInjured and everything, they look absolutely majestic.
ReplyDeleteMy WW post for this week is here. Have a great day!

ReplyDeleteGreat shot. It's nice that they have a home and someone to care for them.
ReplyDeleteInjured or not they are still such lovely magnificent birds! Glad they are being cared for.
ReplyDeleteOkay, that is depressing!
ReplyDeletePs: I am giving away a book on my blog, go and check it out.
ReplyDeleteThey are such incredible animals.
ReplyDeleteThats so sad. I would that would compare to paralisis in humans. We learn how to adapt, but it's a long haul.
