Wordless: Unable to Soar

This pair of eagles reside at the wildlife park near my home. Both suffered an accident. After their rescue and recovery, they were taken to the park to live. Neither one can be released into the wild because their injuries were so severe. Poor guys.

  6. I saw a photo in the newspaper yesterday - an eagle had the top part of his beak shot off but they were making him a prosthesis, amazing what can be done these days, and so great that people care enough to do something for these marvellous creatures.

  14. Thats so sad. I would that would compare to paralisis in humans. We learn how to adapt, but it's a long haul.
