It's April 25. Do You Know Where Your Books Are?

Okay. I was just getting bored of writing "Friday Bookish Buzz" every Friday. After bragging to raidergirl that we missed her snow yesterday, guess what? Snow here today. Yip-a-dee-do-da. Anyway...

*"Bam! Take that Zombie Shakespeare!" Maybe that's not what they mean when they say comic Shakespeare plays.

*The Children's Treasury of Plastic Surgery. That's so wrong. I'm so offended by the title (My Beautiful Mommy) and the cover. Whatever happened to fairy godmothers and pumpkins?

*Remember the Cassie Edwards Affair. Her publisher has dropped her like a hot potato.

*As mentioned in Literary Feline's Sunday post, this bizarre story from Dear Author. I suggest reading the summary of events. It doesn't sound professional, in fact, it sounds like something a bunch of mean junior high school girls would do.

*Well, I could think of worse things: a Miley Cyrus memoir.

*Tricia is inviting book bloggers to a new social networking page: a Ning, aptly named Book Blogs. Have a look!

Have a great weekend!

  1. Wow, snow? I admit to loving the white stuff, but am glad we are (hopefully) beyond that for a time. I certainly wouldn't mind skipping summer and going straight to fall, but I want to savor spring and spring weather right now.

  2. We had snow here too, but it didn't stick around. Yay! It was snowing pretty hard when we were in Halifax. I actually don't know if my specific town got any, actually... I wasn't around to see it.

Kailana- It didn't stick here either. Today it was mostly rain.

  7. That children's plastic surgery book was just disturbing. Not that I think parents should keep everything secret from their kids, but there has to be a better way to explain plastic surgery than that.

Anyhow, I've been enjoying browsing your blog!

  8. Kim- Yeah, I think a parent should let their kids know what's going on but that book is just creepy. Especially the "Mom is pretty now." Don't all kids think their Moms are pretty?
