Clearly you have the secret ingredient of artistic talent, but I'm also wondering what kind of camera you use. I can never do such beautiful, crisp, focused close-ups with my cheap camera. Or maybe it's just the lack of talent!
Rob- It's mostly the camera. I have an Olympus E-410. Nice camera. And I take lots of pictures of the same thing over and over. This one was the clearest of about 10. There's no way I would have been able to take this without a digital camera!
That is a great shot. I know what you mean about taking lots and lots. I take 15-20 shots of everything and hope for some non-blurry ones. I have a good camera, but terrible eyesite and still learning.
