Ok, a few words. When my Grandmother passed away in 1994, I received a bunch of old photos. This one was so overexposed I couldn't see what was in it. A 'quick fix' with a photo editing program revealed this vacation photo of my Grandmother traveling in western Canada when she was a young woman. It's one of my favorite pictures of her.
Happy Mother's Day!
More Wordless Wednesday
I love old photos. Don't you wish you knew her when she was young? I feel that way about my Mom and Grandmother.
ReplyDeleteKristy- I know. I don't know if you can see it, but she has a big grin on her face. She looks like she's having a great time.
ReplyDeleteWow--what a treasure!! Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteNeat! I love that you were able to "fix" it! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThat is priceless. I love photos like that. Holding history.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful.
That's a wonderful old photo of your grandmother. :) A great family keepsake. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful picture!! I have a ton of pictures that I got when my grandmother passed away (my Dad's mom). She was an awesome lady and I loved her so much. After my grandfather died a couple of years ago, I went to help my dad clean up the house. I ended up with a lot of old pictures and books. In the Bible by my grandma's side of the bed, she had all the letters I had written to her from college!! Sigh....I really miss her!
ReplyDeleteI, too love old pictures. What a definite blessing it is to have received them!
ReplyDeleteI wish I had more pictures of my grandmother as a young woman. You are lucky.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful picture to have! Oh the stories the imagination can spin just from that snapshot alone.
